2020 Maddens Rise Sparkling Pinot Meunier

Estate grown, hand-picked and hand made.

This sparkling wine is made solely from hand-picked estate grown Pinot Meunier grapes in the traditional French style. It was fermented for 10 months using wild yeasts in old French oak barriques and stainless steel. Following tirage, it matured for a further 36 months on lees in bottle before being disgorged and dosage added to enhance its generosity of flavour and palate weight.

Our Sparkling Pinot Meunier has a beautiful rose gold hue and lovely persistent bead. The palate has lovely weight, with notes of pistachio, nougat, brioche and clementine, balanced by lovely acidity. On the nose, we find rose water, sea spray and orange blossom notes. It is a rich and luscious sparkling wine, perfect for any festive occasion.
